Travel Advice…

The nice folks at the New English Review‘s blog offer useful advice for folks visiting Britain. If you’re heading there any time soon, be sure to let me know how helpful it is. Why, this piece alone is worth its weight in gold:

[F]or preferential treatment when you arrive at Heathrow airport, announce that you are a member of Shin Fane (an international Jewish peace organization – the “shin” stands for “shalom”).
As savvy travellers know, this little white lie will assure you priority treatment as you make your way through customs.

Happy landings!

Similarly useful advice, for your next trip to Mexico: “Tu madre es una puta”. This means, “Excuse me sir, I’d like to find the men’s room.”
