After I finished talking about Borges with the Short Story class, I headed back to the office, where I found I had received an e-mail from the folks at Snubnose, with this possible cover by Eric Beetner (who is a gifted writer as well).

    The fonts are sharp. I would maybe tilt the hand so the bones in the stumps aren’t quite so macabre. And of course congratulations and I’d love to spend a little coin on it when it’s officially available.

    It took me a minute to believe what I was seeing! Sacre vache… defenestradigitation? ‘Twill attract attention… brash, as is heavy metal.

    If it (ostensibly) has heavy metal content, you’ll need the obligatory umlauts somewhere in the title…
