If You’re of a Prayerful Persuasion

Carl Groves has been one of my closest friends for forty years — we met in first grade. Two of his five children were seriously injured in a car accident over the weekend. Your prayers (or good wishes, or positive thoughts, if you run to that end of things) for Chloe, Greta, Carl, and Janie would be greatly appreciated.

UPDATE: Thanks, folks — I just exchanged texts with Carl a few minutes ago. Greta should be released from the hospital today; Chloe (the older one) will be in for at least another week. They will recover, but it’s going to be a long slog. Keep it up, gang!

Thank you.

I’m on it, Prof. Praying for complete and thorough recovery for both girls and for the parents to know how to proceed. What an awesome God we serve–who reveals himself to a young lady in a crisis.

  2. I’ll send good thoughts to Carl’s family.
