Website io9 runs an article on the “Men’s Adventure” novels that are typically seen as pulp artifacts of the 70s and 80s. The article is less than complimentary, seeing the works as nothing more than somewhat deranged hackery. Now some of these were somewhat deranged hackery (and were occasionally parodied within the genre), but they’re also a lot of fun.
Oh, well… I guess everyone is a snob about something.
