Dark City Comes to Mondoville

Score one for the unpopular kid.

Friends, colleagues, and students past and present showed up for the readings and signings, as did Mrs. M and the Spawn. We nearly sold out of our copies of Dark City Lights, and moved quite a few issues of Dark Corners and a copy of Broken Glass Waltzes. I took Larry’s advice for each session and chatted with the visitors until we had a quorum of at least a half-dozen, at which point I went ahead and did a little reading. I left a couple of copies of BGW and  Dark Corners for later customers, but for my first off-campus signing, it was a good time all around.

And speaking of Dark City Lights, your genial host got a very kind mention in a review at Bookreporter.com, and a nifty interview in Mondoville’s newspaper of record.

So to the folks who made it today, and those who were with me in spirit — thanks so much!

Yes, most definitely with you in spirit.

Now I will ask you to attend in spirit here for the high school Shakespeare production I had the honor of directing. It is 15 minutes until curtain!

    Photo clue attached.

    Best, Cathy
